The Glendora Recovery Foundation is dedicated to our mission to raise funds to support adolescents who lack resources for substance abuse and mental health treatment. Alongside financial assistance, our focus includes raising awareness about these critical concerns. Recent data reveals a concerning trend among teens grappling with addiction, particularly to drugs like fentanyl. The alarming rise in fentanyl-related overdoses among adolescents underscores the urgency of our cause. Untreated substance abuse and mental health issues have a devastating impact on young lives emphasizing the pressing need for accessible support and intervention initiatives.
Partial Hospitalization
PHP is an intensive outpatient treatment program for treating substance abuse and mental health issues, offering daily group sessions and individual therapy while allowing patients to go home at night.
Intensive Outpatient Program
IOP is a treatment option for substance abuse or mental health issues, involving frequent group/individual therapy sessions while allowing participants to live at home. It is more intensive than regular outpatient therapy but less so than inpatient treatment.
Outpatient Program
OP is a treatment option for mental health or substance abuse issues involves regular group and individual therapy sessions while still allowing the individual to continue their daily activities at home.
Juvenile Offender Intervention Network (J.O.I.N.)
The J.O.I.N program, an initiative led by the District Attorney’s Office of Los Angeles County, seeks to assist young, nonviolent first-time offenders in avoiding prosecution.
